THE MAGIC OF SPANISH GUITAR

We spent a long time talking with the guitar virtuoso and unrelenting composer Lukáš Sommer talking about who he would invite as a guest to his evening at St. Agnes’ Convent. Name after name, instrument after instrument were suggested. In the end, the circumstances decided, i.e., following the events of February and March 2022, we approached the remarkable Ukrainian guitarist based in Bohemia, Artem Pozdniakov. Together with Lukáš, they’ll plunge into twelve-string waves with lighthouses on the horizon, on which the names Villa-Lobos, Tárrega and Rodrigo shine. And this is not the end of the voyage: during the concert, the Gothic Hall will be transformed into a studio, as we have invited a specialist in live painting responding to music, the eruptive expressionist Vladimír Kiseljov.
