CHILD OF THE WIND

At the time of the pandemic, the clarinetist and singer Vojta Nýdl recorded a remarkable CD with Beata Hlavenková. An album full of poetry, full of beauty, celebrating life, especially its fragility. The recording is called The Child of the Wind, and it was inspired by the personal story of the very premature and dramatic birth of Nýdl's second daughter Johanka and is dedicated to all premature babies. The artist Adriena Šimotová was also fascinated by the miracle of life and its transience. Her work is so stimulating for the artist of the first evening of the Paintings and Music series that especially for this occasion he is composing a piece in her honor. The guest of the evening will also be very special, namely the double bass player Klára Pudláková.
