ZELENKA – TRIO SONATAS

Bassoonist Sergio Azzolini is a highly respected and esteemed figure in Prague. He is a laureate of the Prague Spring Competition and an admirer of early music, as seen in his Jiránek recordings with Collegio Marianum. This time music of another Czech Baroque composer, the great Jan Dismas Zelenka, will resonate. We’re about to experience the completion of his trio sonatas; in September 2022 we presented the first half, this time the other three will be heard. It is really something to look forward to, because a great line-up will gather in Prague to present it: the star oboists will be joined by refined Czech company. Zelenka will then be joined by Johann Sebastian Bach and his violin sonata.
