Přemysl KŠICA | organ
If only one instrument is to be played at a Christmas concert, it should be the organ. It’s a royal musical instrument, or more precisely a machine used in music. For an organ-only Christmas concert, Johann Sebastian Bach must be on the programme. However, it would be a great shame if a talented organist such as the regenschori from St Nicolas’ Church in Prague’s Lesser Town, Přemysl Kšica, could not display all his qualities. Among them is a perfect knowledge of the Czech, Austrian and German repertoire that formed the basis of his studies in Prague and in Stuttgart. For the Advent concert, he has chosen very well-timed pieces! An organ improvisation will not be missing either as Přemysl has received many awards in that discipline.
