Lise de la SALLE | piano
Lise de la Salle, who will be opening the piano recital season, is a lady whose age can still be talked about with ease. Although only in her early thirties, her biography already lists the most prestigious halls, orchestras and conductors, and her recordings have won many awards. Maybe that's why she dared to take a healthy risk in putting together her unique recital programme. It is based on, for Lise, the two most important values of music: the rhythm reminiscent of a heartbeat and a movement without which there would be no life. The programme therefore celebrates composers who use dance rhythms. Did you know that Igor Stravinsky also wrote a Tango? And especially for Prague, she included Dvořák's Slavonic Dance, which fits very well in the part dedicated to the ‘Slavic soul’! All Lise needs to do is to ask the audience: Will you dance with me?
The concert is held in cooperation with the French Institute in Prague.
