The imaginative name - Radio Antiqua – belongs to a cutting-edge ensemble founded in The Hague in 2012. The desire to perform Baroque gems to perfection brought together an Argentine, two Brazilians, an Italian and a Czech. Their repertoire is similarly varied. In addition to Telemann, they have devoted their attention to other remarkable masters such as Giovanni Benedetto Platti, Christoph Schaffrath and Antonín Reichenauer. We can look forward to the Czech debut of these devotees of Baroque chamber music, who have won recording prizes and rave reviews from prestigious festivals.
The concert is held under the auspices of H.E. Daan Feddo Huisinga, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Czech Republic.
