Tonight will be beautiful, no doubt about it. The violinist Milan Al-Ashhab and his rare instrument made in the workshop of Nicola Amati in Cremona, Italy in 1662 are the most suited pair. Amati's violin has a characteristically rich, honeyed sound and Milan has a perfect violin playing technique at his disposal. Destiny has put the masterly instrument in the service of Milan's talent. Milan’s natural style of playing enchanted juries of many world competitions and he has filled many famous concert venues with the sound of his violin. Tonight, accompanied by pianist and composer Adam Skoumal, they will permeate every fold in the vault of the church of St. Simon and Jude.
