A regular guest of the Prague Symphony Orchestra, Lukáš Vondráček returns to the Rudolfinum with a recital marking the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's death. Three early piano sonatas, composed during the young composer's first years in Vienna, reveal the emergence of one of music's greatest creative voices. The programme concludes with Schumann's poetic Fantasiestücke and the beloved Träumerei, works that perfectly complement Beethoven's youthful brilliance.
