Smetana – My Country

Celebrate Czech National Day with Smetana's iconic My Country in the hall where Czechoslovak independence was proclaimed in 1918. This year's performances honour the legacy of Václav Smetáček, the Prague Symphony Orchestra's legendary Chief Conductor, whose lifelong devotion to the work helped make it a cornerstone of PSO's repertoire. The concerts are conducted by the emerging Czech conductor Marek Prášil, a fitting tribute to Smetáček's commitment to nurturing new generations of artists.
