In September 2025, one of the most sought-after Czech conductors, Tomáš Netopil, will become the chief conductor of the Prague Symphony Orchestra, making his debuts in Berlin and Chicago. The programme for his inaugural concert includes the ballet suite Salt over Gold by the important 20th century Czech composer Jan Hanuš and Mahler's First Symphony Titan.
The start of the concert on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, has been postponed to 8:00 PM due to live radio and television coverage. Purchased tickets remain valid.
